Day 21: Today we traveled through the other half of Kansas. We saw many wind turbines, hay rolls, oil wells, and lots of straight road. Too cold for golf, so we stopped in Hays and visited Historic Fort Hays. We are now seventeen miles short of the Colorado border.

Nice shot. I'll be looking for some cool photos of Colorado, one of my favorite states.

Hi, Judy. The farther you go, the farther you get. This journey is covering a lot of ground. I should have been paying more attention on the front end about how long you guys would be traveling. I'm envious---what a great trip. And your photo journal will be something that few people take the time to compile. Thanks for sharing the adventure with us.

Best,

Bill Kirk

Sorry I didn't get the rest of the trip posted at this site...but I have the whole journey, if either of you are interested. It is posted on Facebook, and I can give you the link if you want, or just search my name to find me there. My computer time was limited, so I cut back to posting one place. It was an awesome trip, and I got some great photos...two albums full, plus my picture a day journey. We were gone three weeks Bill, and hit an ice storm as we arrived, with 89 degree temps the day we left.
