Day 16:Dinner at Dusk

In our neighborhood, there are a lot of rabbits. We see them often in the early morning or at dusk, feeding on the lawns. Last year when we were riding our bikes, we counted over 75 rabbits within a half hour. There don't seem to be as many this year.

We've noticed that the rabbit population seems to fluctuate wildly. I guess animals who have large litters and a lot of them can be greatly affected by weather conditions or increases in predators. I do like rabbits. They are less destructive in our area than raccoons and squirrels, and they are so cute.
